This game is nostalgic to me.
My bro and my grandma had this on the ds and they used to play it all night.

I watched it and remember us all being fooled trying to get things that weren't in the game.

All to say thank you Nintendo for making one of my favorite games of all time.

Oh my god, he mentioned brick seeds. That's exactly what happened to my first copy of AC WW. Some asshole I added from like gfaqs or sm placed a building right in front of my house where I would normally spawn. Since then, the game never boots past the Nintendo logo lmao

OG Wild World player here, yeah the online was real fun with hacking and seeds were especially fun to use in your town, as long as you didn't crash your game. You forgot to mention that Nintendo accidentally sent out a "red tulips" item that if placed inside your house made an immovable 1x1 object. Never happened to me thankfully.

I don’t necessarily think the beehive, paint cans, boxes, etc. were intended to be items for players in WW. I figure they exist as items so they can be spawned into the world, even if the player can never obtain them.

My sister had a perfect ACWW town, with golden flowers and a complete house and all. She usually let me play the game, and I went online a couple times. I accidentally brought seeders into the town, and now the game crashes when I pick a player. R.I.P
