Tom Waits 'New Coat Of Paint' - Guitar Arrangement & Lesson

This one proved to be trickier than I thought it would be - the combination of the key, piano riffs, and chord locations truly make quite a challenge indeed! It's funny - this is really one of those pieces that sounds simple, but is in fact hard to execute cleanly.

Saw Marc live last night. Just him, his antique Gibson and about 50 people watching. Never seen anything like it. Time signature, chord progressions or any structure was not present. Seems like he’s elevated beyond that stuff. Really hard describe. Just have to see it if you can.

Running out of superlatives for your arrangements of songs that you consider to be gems. The take aways from your offerings, spew in every direction. I have been playing long hot summer night by Hendrix for several years and while dissecting your tutorial, I realized that parts of that song fit comfortably around your arrangement. Geez, love it!
