Creating a Nature Journal

I recently felt the pull to start a nature journal and I'm so glad I did. I've been trying to spend as much time in nature as I can lately, especially since the weather has been perfect for it. Spending hours looking at the trees and various flora and fauna, and noticing as many details as I can has been so therapeutic and a source of endless inspiration for me. I've been on a journey trying to reconnect with all the things that are important to me and my life, as well as delving back into that sense of childlike wonder that I used to have. Being in nature is the easiest way to get that nature back.

Your notebook is amazing, your sketches are lovely, and plant identification is my absolute love! I use iNaturalist and take tons of photos each time I'm on a walk or a hike. Now in winter, when it's not so colorful outside and the weather is unpleasant, I concentrate mainly on mosses and lichens, and I record bird voices. I've never tried sketching plants, I've got to try it one day, but I'm a beginner.

Very peaceful and meditative - the visuals of nature mixed with the words written on the screen made for a very contemplative visual piece. Continue to create more of these !
