After a very quick day trip to Edmonton on Air Canada's new Airbus A220-300 (formerly the Bombardier CS300). Stunning approach over Vancouver with a brilliant overview of YVR Airport. Gotta love the not so smooth landing. Starting with a bit of chop, and cloud surfing down through the clouds. This was definitely one for the books!

My wife flew in via Air Canada from Japan, absolutely loved the service and comfort. Different jet, but amazing view of YVR from above! 😀

Love that familiar banking approach into YVR, and the descent over the Spanish Banks. Love the A220 too. Looks great in AC's updated livery. Reminds me of the seating configuration in the DC-9: 2 + 3.

Really awesome! Let's hope the A220 visits YVR much more often! There's nothing more beautifully Canadian than an A220 with the backdrop of the North Shore mountains behind!

lol that landing was HARD, no flair at all as well as a hard gear slam...cool A22 though

I was wondering how much quieter it is than a "standard" cabin with the PG1000's ?
