The addiction I struggle with is lust, and, to lesser extents, gluttony, entertainment, and my own anger.

A wise man once said, "When the pain of your sin outweighs the thrill that you get from it, you'll change."

That wise man was you, and when you said that, I saved it in my phone for later because I knew it was a good quote to have. I have looked at it many times since then. It has helped lift me when I was down at my worst. I love you brother Allen and I appreciate all that you do!

I had been addicted in watching wuxia chinese drama. I spent 5 or more hours a day watching except sunday and I've been praying for this since first month of the year. By God's grace, it's almost a month since my last watch of wuxia chinese drama. And my days are becoming fruitful. Praise be to God. 😊

As a licensed therapist, I can testify that the points Allen makes in this video if followed with consistency have the ability to keep you out of a higher level of care: inpatient, rehab, etc. This is a wonderful formula and I want to encourage you all, watch this and share with your support system so they are able to keep you on track. Recovery is meant to be shared, trying to do it alone will only invite the enemy in to constantly throw shame in your face. 1 John 4:4

Ive struggled for years and years from impulsive shopping. I know it's an addiction. My husband has bailed us out so many times I've lost count. It continues to put a financial burden on our family. The enemy is always telling me that you'll never overcome it no matter how hard you try. It's a lie I've believed for years. I've prayed and prayed to be delivered I just can't comprehend why I'm not.

I became a Christian in June 24 and I was a heavy drinker and smoker. I have stopped drinking and smoking but I replaced it with vaping. I pray God helps me get free of the vaping by Christmas.

my addiction is sugar and im pretty sure that is partly why i have anger issues- because my emotions are all over the place. Praying. I feel like He's asking me to fast and pray to break it (more for the test in obedience, i feel). Prayers for everyone struggling. 🙏

Smoking. When God saved me out of the pit and I became a born again child of God, I stopped immediatly through the power of the Holy Spirit. Life happens and I started again and are really struggling now... Causing a lot of guilt. Vicious circle🙏🙏
