Love it ! Any chance you can share the dimensions of the table and approximately how much epoxy was needed ? Cheers and keep the channel going, love it!

What is the first coat you apply to the wood at 1:16?

Do you clear dust after burning and before applying epoxy? If yes then what's the best way?

Seems like burning the wood beds it a lot if it isn't done on both sides. I want to try this technique, I think I'll try to dry the wood as much as possible, maybe in an oven, then flatten it and do the burning on one side, maybe it stays relatively flat. Greta video by the way, love the final result.

You must have been very confident that you had a level pour to not run it through a planer after the pour and go straight to sanding. Beautiful work, looks great.

Hey nice work...I do these myself. Curious, how long did the process take you from start to finish? I noticed a couple hicups but you just kept going, good for you man. I make one little flaw and its a huge set back. Also, did the piece sell? And for how much? Sorry to be so nosey, just never really come across others who also do Shou sugi Ban covered in epoxy.

Hey bro, always work with mask, gloves, goggles and in a ventilated area. Epoxy gives cancer and lungs problems so easily. Take care of yourself!
