Decluttering and pursuing a more minimalist lifestyle has literally changed my life, going from overwhelmed to a more calm and content life. I got rid of over 50% of the things in our home (clothes, toys, decor and so much more). I sold everything that wasn't useful to us anymore. I often give away items for free on FB market place, since, it can take longer to sell them. It also gives someone else the chance to have something very gently used and have the joy of the item without having to spend money.

Even if they are a re-seller, I remind myself I can afford to declutter, I can afford to give this item away. If I lost or broke this item beyond repair, I could find a replacement in my home or in a store. Decluttering is a luxury and I am grateful I can partake.

I declutter quite often but I recently moved homes and was shocked when I realised that sometimes things have a place and time. I had kept hold of things that had a place in my old home that don’t have a place in new one which were stressing me out because I couldn’t find space for them! Your child's bedroom windows need restraints on them so they can not open wide enough for your child to fall out. A handyman could fit them for you. Babies can be more acrobatic than you expect. 😊
