I had two empty expired 20 lb propane tanks and all I did was exchange them at Ameri Gas for newer ones. Yeah, they're under filled but once they're empty I have them refilled and not exchanged.

When I refilled these tanks I never looked at the expiration date id fill almost any tank. There are some that I would say no to tho. If they looked damaged in any way, if there is a tone of rust on the tank it self and if the valve is rusty at all i would refuse to fill

You should tell people, they only get about 16 pounds in a 20 pounder, so they're getting overcharged and under filled because of safety

I have two 20 Lb tanks that are expired and even though they're both in excellent shape, I'll have to drive around 150 miles one-way to have either of them "Re-certified". A Complete load of B.S.
