I think these are designed for dodging toll roads or lanes that cost to much, In WA state you have toll lanes, bridges, and now a tunnel. Our taxes on gas, car tabs, and now tolls you pay for this and you may never use them because you live far from them.

But the old school way
Long string and spring behind the plate and it drops when you unhook it
Ghost plates good for

2:when your being followed by an unknown vehicle, hide the plate and run

I just got this for my Chevy cruze and it doesn't close up and I had to trim my plate so it could rotate

Plasti dip your car and have 2 sets of plates. Leave the seen and change plates and rip the plasti dip off and bam, diff color car with diff plates.

If you really wanna be slick just put your original plates on so you will have 2 sets of plates rather than 4 different plates. Find another car that looks just like yours when driving around and copy that plate and put it on the other side of the flipper thing that way when they say it was a blue toyota Camry, the cops will have the plates to some other car that looks just like yours. But it would only really work if you have a common car and not a car that would obviously stand out

I just saw a report here in Houston that this dude was arrested for utilizing a “plate flipper” while going through toll ways....dude owes them more than $5, 400 of toll fines lol
