Tips better on shipt but if you have both do both!

I just started both instacart and shipt in my market about a month ago and I like doing both. Shipt has hidden tips where for example my first shipt delivery was a $6.32 order for 1 baby stroller at target and 8 hours later, I got a $90.00 tip from that customer! I couldn't believe it! I like doing shipt orders because you just never know what you're going to get afterwards!

My wife works for target. Been thinking of shipt. The start pay is 16.00 an hour, even though minimum wage is 13.75 here. Glad to see they pass that on to shipt.

I'm a shipt shopper and have been for almost 5 years. Instacart tips suck compared to Shipt at least in my area.

The $50 credit on my customer account is the only Shipt Summit Star benefit that I use. The supposed offer priority is the only Diamond Instacart Shopper benefit that I use, but it's unclear how much difference it really makes. Shipt is hands down the better platform. I didn't hear anything about the "preferred shopper" options that makes a HUGE difference to your Shipt offer availability.

On Shipt, the offer screen never has a tip upfront on it. It’s only the offer to shop the order so there’s no way of knowing if the customer pre-tipped or not.

Ive never seen a Shipt tip disappear, they tip after delivery anyway. Its actually instacart customers that have 2 hours after delivert to increase or decrease their tip which isnt ethical because they can put a large tip to attract shoppers to accept their order quickly and then lower it afterwards.

Tried signing up for Instacart but was waitlisted, and I'm hearing horror stories of people being waitlisted for 6 plus months to a year. So maybe Instacart is not the best option

I’m sorry man but I’ve done both and instacart can’t even compete with the pay I get from shipt. I just worked 25 hours for $800. Tips was “only” $150

What 3rd party delivery service is best for large and bulky loads like building supplies?

I'm waitlisted on both Instacart and Shipt. I've been on the waitlist for Instacart for at least 6 months now, even though ppl I know signed up, and we're immediately accepted in my area. I only work DD, UE, GH & I was approved for Spark but haven't done it yet.

I was delivering to cookie crumble and it was like a 250 dollar order they needed supplies and they only tipped 5 bucks and I just said the standard is 5 percent and they zeroed it out but I ended up getting the tip back from the insurance

DoorDash and Instacart are the more innovative companies rounding out 2024. Order volume, app features, etc.

Shipt offers are easier to grab, instacart good orders are gone before you have a chance to see them!

I’m a shipt shopper. I make $2, 200+ a week as of last week I made $2, 537. I live in tx and we have HEB. So I only do delivery only orders. I been doing shipt since September and have 800+ orders. I only have done 43 shop and deliver. I haven’t done shop and deliver since September lol. I only do delivery only orders from HEB and majority of them are bundle Delivery only and they tip really good sometimes both customers for that bundle tip $20 so that’s 50 for that one order. I work from 9-6pm sometimes 8. Make anywhere from minimum $290-$420+ a day. I mostly stay around the $330 mark for majority days.

Instacart is crap in my area 😂 I do get some orders here and there and I’m actually a diamond shopper and i still don’t get the higher paying batches 😂and If a randomly do i have to drive 20 miles away, shipt customers don’t tip at all I’m doing this part time now it’s not worth my time no more

InstaCart since Shipt enabled me even though they don’t do it in a 25 mile radius of me.

It’s simple. Shipt allows you to take multiple orders and customize to what you want. Instacart doesn’t do that. Shipt doesn’t change based pay based on tips and Shipt gives you bonuses. You can lose pay with Instacart but not Shipt. The tips are not included in Shipt but just map your tips that way you know who tips and who doesn’t. Shipt is way better and it’s not even close

I signed up for instracart but got put on a waiting list. Same with sparks. Wondering how long you have to wait
