Best Wishes for the Holidays--Johns Hopkins School of Nursing

The "Onward" Arch was presented in May 2013 by the Traditional Class of 2013 to Martha N. Hill to commemorate more than a decade of service as dean of the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. The arch's message is taken from Dean Hill's famous sign-off—"Onward!"—used on all of her correspondence. Each day, students pass through the wrought-iron arch, located in the School's courtyard, as they move "onward" in their academic endeavors.
