When I was about 12 years old I was surfing with my older brother and I wiped out and a huge wage crashed me into a big rock and I got knocked out. Luckily my brother saw and he grabbed me and basically carried me up the street to the emergency room. I love my brother and I’m so grateful that he saved my life. Still surfing 🤙🏽❤️

Okay, so explain to me what a 2 year old is doing in the water, unsupervised?!? I mean, I know the dad went after her and almost drowned himself, but come on: you never take your eyes off of your baby, right? At some point they must have doing something else than watching their baby.

Mouse is a hero. We should be so grateful to have these amazing lifeguards saving loved ones life’s, while risking there own. You can tell they care because they cry for people, the fact of losing someone at there beach kills them.

I was 3 when my family went to the beach for the first time. My mom didn't let me go any deeper than ankle-depth water, and even then she was holding my hand the entire time.
Please keep your children close. The ocean can be fun, but please don't underestimate it.

I've had a fear of water since I was 3years old and would have drowned but for the quick response of the lifeguards on duty...Bondi lifeguards are surely some of the best in the world... I have so much respect and admiration for anyone who risks their lives to save others.xx

A word from a fellow lifeguard. Please watch your children at all time. This could have been prevented 100%. A majority or events like this are easily preventable by watching your children, watching yourself, and using common sense. and most importantly LISTEN to the lifeguard. We are trained to pay attention to things you as a patron don't notice, so more often than not we are telling you to do or not to do something for a reason. Stay safe and Enjoy the water.
