The information about the power adapter at 03:31 was reeaally helpful. Thank you for mentioning that! Hadn't seen any info about it by other youtubers, and believe me, I've seen a couple dozen videos about this unit so far.

I have a Stage, and just bought the Player but it hasn't arrived yet. You brought up a very interesting point that I hadn't even thought of, about being able to have it on the desk beside you when practicing/recording. In my scenario, I'm planning to use it mainly as an effects unit for my Maton acoustics, into the looper (Boss RC-500) then into a Bose S1 Pro+. But once I've figured out the best switch configuration, I'd love to use it as a main rig. I only use two rigs, but I use the morph feature for solos - rig volume plus more delay etc - so I'd have to upgrade to Level II for morph. We'll see how it goes. Might have to implement another midi pedal like the Boss FS-6 for switching rigs, while using the Player switches for turning FX on and off.

The only drawback I’ve found - and which I had expected all along - is the lack of any display. It’s virtually impossible, without the Rig Manager app, to tell which rig you’re currently using. Color coding is ok but they repeat. It becomes “which blue bank am I on - the first or the 6th ?”

thanks - very interesting video. I use mine for 3 months now and still love it. I would recommend for users to add the kemper switch so that you have switches for the 5 sounds within one bank. Game changer will be when kemper will allow combo switching to add more switching capabilities. Tuner to me is very deceptive and not sufficient, I don't know how this works on other Kempers but not sufficient there... so still need to have a side tuner pedal. I personally use my ipad with it to navigate through the banks. One interesting feature would be to integrate into the ipad app a fancy tuner screen.
Love all the rest. This is part of a pedalboard, probably not enough to be used standalone (cf. tuner and expression pedal in case you use an extra switch like me)

Great video and love the honesty you bring. I haven't tried any of the Kemper units so I can't give any opinion. But I will say look into Blackstar Amp Pedals, they're awesome.

Thanks for the video, I am using my KPP for a month now, I even used it on the stage AND I TOTALLY AGREE WHEN YOU SAID YOU HATE THAT THERE IS NO POWER BUTTON. I mean cmon really? :D. Also I am hanging at their forum now new updates for some features and maybe more FXs but since now there is no offical things. Sure, there will be some updates I am sure about it but when and what is unkown now :(. So now I am searching for alernative solutions for more FXs like line6 HX effects maybe. But other than that great product, really love my profiles
