For some reason on the internetcloud you have to change fastethernet provider to cable before it will let you select a to port under the cable menu. seemed like the official tutorial steps got reversed maybe.

i do everything as said but when trying to connect to wireless network, it's not there? i've checked the connections and am using a WRT300N Wireless router

I had a problem the Ip address was correct on the configuration but on the checking mark the subnet mask where incorrect even the ip address where correct. What will be the solution for the network?

For me the straight-through for wireless router -> cable modem doesn't work, but the cross-over does.

Hi Miquel,

I was configuring the internet cloud and PT CLOUD NM !CX was already there, i had to only add the 1CX and when i went to cables it was only showing coaxial7 and i couldnt pick any port on the right tab. but i saw on 1:25 you went to fast ethernet and mine was showing "DSL" instead of "cable."

What did i do wrong?

though my issue was resolved with using copper cross over wire rather using straight through, but i am really eager to know why it is like that?
