Breaking gender stereotypes, Bengaluru police BENGALURU CITY POLICE has drafted an all-women motorcycling brigade 'We for Women' who will help keep their city safe astride the #RoyalEnfieldHimalayan

"The aim was to break the gender stereotypes that only gentlemen officers come on heavy bikes and to give exposure to smart young women in our department. The increased visibility of women officers will not only make the Bangalore City safer for Women and Children it would also make our officers leaders and examples which would motivate other young women to take up challenges. We had the complete support of our Commissioner Bhaskar Rao sir and the technical back up of Royal Enfield which had made it a success. We hope to give confidence to more women in the coming days to rule the streets of Bangalore City." - Divya Thomas, DCP - City Armed Force

The RE company should seriously consider on the current situation of silencer ban and challans.
The thump is the spirit of Bullet.
If that is removed there is nothing left in any Enfield bike.
With each successive emission norms the company has almost killed the thump.
Riders were forced to use after market exhausts.
But the silencer ban has left the RE fans dismayed as there is no support from Royal Enfield.
The legal aftermarket exhausts are still not available at the stores.
In cities like Bangalore and Kolkata riding an Enfield feels like riding Splender.
Hope RE increses the thump sound to atleast that of BS 3 Classic 350 and 500 models.
