Living with uncertainty and "wearing anxiety like an uncomfortable coat" has helped me recover the most. Since you cannot speak to your amygdala or rationalize with it you have to "show" it that things are safe by simply living and doing while the alarms in your mind and body are going off.

I absolutely have this. Am I correct in thinking that I should be breaking down why I’m so scared of it and then try to rationalize and not catastrophize it? I’m scared of the feelings and am stuck all day in it. Thank you!

If you could give someone 3 tips to combat fear of fear, what would they be? How would you slowly dismantle it?

I have been dealing with on and off all day long breathing issues, meaning mainly tightness of my chest, shortness of breath and hyper awareness of my length of breath. I have never dealt with this and have been learning its fear of fear, the fear of feeling the breathlessness and tightness. But I have a difficulty getting over the hump of dealing with it daily.
