Why should we ask for certain things, when we should just say, "Thy will be done Lord". As for salvation for family and friends, just say "Thy will be done Lord". I still do not see why we need to pray for specific things, when God's will: will be done. I definitely believe what the Pastor said about having a double mind. We know that God can do what we ask, because if we didn't believe He could do it, then why would we pray at all. I still am having a very hard time with why we need to pray, other than it does take the fear and anxiety about certain things away, but still, just pray Thy will be done Lord. If it is God's will to take our fear and anxiety away, then He will do it. If not, then He won't.
