My first electrical engineering course introduced the oscilloscope in like 15 to 20 minutes, then expected us to just know how to use it. This is among several things I could have made use of during those days in the lab.

Our semester project was an analog robot that was supposed to use RC circuits to make a quarter reverse turn when the bump switches were triggered on the front (otherwise move forward). We didn't have Arduinos or any other microcontrollers to do this, we had to use transistors, diodes, relays, etc. on a breadboard, and debugging that mess was NOT fun. It felt like trying to hold together a full-scale bus made from cardboard.

This man uses a TP link smart plug. I can’t tell if it’s the 7 outlet or the 3 outlet.
