Early Overpowered Super Squall Guide - Final Fantasy VIII

This video shows how to get squall overpowered easily step by step in detail for your new walkthrough in Final Fantasy 8 remastered.

When I infiltrated Galbadia Garden, I drew 100 Flares from one of the monsters, and junctioned them to Squall’s Strength, maxing it out to 255. I also had Diablos learn Darkside, which Squall used as an ability (Darkside does triple attack damage). Two Darkside attacks against Edea and she was done for!

This is a great guide and I followed it to the letter. Got punishment at level 10 too and even though it was a pain, it was totally worth it. Only in my 3rd walkthrough did I discover that high levels were worthless

You forgot to use card mod in order to kill monsters instead of killing them normally. The lower level you are, the stronger you become against same level monsters. If you wanna level up only do it after you get Cactuar cause then you can get +1 stat boosts for each level. Still even with stat boosts being lower level you are stronger than being level 100, but then at least you can kill anything you want without worrying about accidentally leveling up. To become the most overpowered all you have to do is wait until Squall gets Cactuar, stat boost him to level 100 while keeping the rest of your team at base level (8-13). Keep your party in your team but make sure they're dead cause you don't need them. And now you're level 100 Squall with max boosted stats vs monsters who are around level 40.

Option 2 to ensure you are OP throughout the entire game.
Kill Squall and Zell at dollet and grind seifer at the bridge to mid 60's. Ifrit/Quets and Shiva will learn all their moves. Then draw full sets of -aga magic for three party members from the soldiers. Draw siren from boss and make sure you check each boss going forward for high level magic or GFs.
Go back to balamb and kill diablos, if you want to get holy early then level to 30 first but its not advised. Holy is easier to get later. If you are having problems with diablos at low level then check spoiler threads as he can be neutered very easily...
Get Quistis, Zell and Minimog cards. Mod quistis and zell for mega rewards. Teach and Junction str + 60% on ifrit/shiva/quetz (and use them as your HM slaves for the rest of the game- use amnesia greens to get rid of crap abilities like gf hp, boost and sum mag).
Get brothers gf and mod the minotaur (i think) for adamantines to get leonhart late disc 1, can farm grendels in the forest near galbadia garden for the energy crystals or whatever they are called for pulse ammo iirc but be low level <15.
Get tonberry before laguna sequence against ruby dragon. Level up the dragon for easy and early full stacks of flare and meteor. Then level back down to 1 to avoid exp.
Run from every fight until you have all ability ups and cactuar for a second person.
Play the guy in the prison at cards until you get 3 rosetta stones.
Draw 100 ultimas for 3 party members from shumi village.
Do queen of cards sidequest and CC quest until you get gilgamesh off the king. Mod in to 10 holy wars.
Junction full life to hp.
Ultima to str
Junction meltdown to vit.
Pain to mag (unless farming heaven or hell where you want this on status protection)
Curaga or reflect to spr.
Haste to spd
Triple to hit (triple to speed for squall as he has max hit anyway)
Tornado to eva
Aura to luck
Dont level mag its not needed in this game.
Smash the rat out of bahamut and ultima weapon. Mod bahamut card for 100 megalixers.
Mod all non required cards and teach quistis all limit breaks.
Before ending disc 3 by going to lunatic pandora- Pick up a girl next door magazine and browse while your party level to 100 on the island closest to hell with stat ups equipped on hp/str/vit and spr. Use tonberry tent/cottage hack for money if needed. Use remaining adamantines for spr +60% if required to get hp to 9999 and str/vit/spr to 255.
Make a load of aura stones out of tool refining.
Go and smash the rat out of omega weapon by throwing aura stones on irvine, zell and squall followed by a holy war to make them invincible as well as being able to spam limits and final boss is a lol after that.
Get stuck in a time loop.
Win the game without ever summoning a GF.
Less than 50hrs to platinum the game including collecting every card (how is that not an acheivement??)
Easiest platinum of any final fantasy ever. Lets not talk about jump rope king eh...?

You already fucked up by not carding and farming the fish. You shouldn’t level squall like at until you get ifrit with str bonus
