Insane Gift Wrapping Challenge

This week J and Ben bring back the GMA gift exchange, a tradition where they exchange gifts with their best friends and everyone tries to wrap the gifts in the most creative, difficult, annoying and fun way possible!

If you are unfamiliar GMA stands for "Green Mallard Association" and is the self-assigned nick name of J, Ben and their 2 friends John and Mike. They having nothing to do with ducks in anyway.

I’ve been subscribed to Super Carlin Brothers for a long time, and I remember when you guys first talked about the GMA gift exchange, and now I finally get to watch it! This is such a cool tradition.

I have a hypothesis about the green ice inside clear ice!

So adding something to the water *decreases* the freezing point of the water, so it has to be colder to freeze correctly because the contaminants (in this case green dye) disrupt the crystal structure of the forming ice. The outside edges will get the coldest the fastest and as they start to freeze, they'll push the contaminants away from the freezing parts, but ultimately there's nowhere out for the green dye to go so it all freezes eventually, just at a lower temperature in the center

Wrapping gifts like this are so fun. This year I gave my brother absolutely nothing, but it was the best wrapped nothing you ever saw. It took him a whole hour to get through all the layers of knots, plastic wrap, duct tape, glue-covered paper, rubber bands, paint, and more. I might have gotten some ideas from the Ten Worst Ways to Wrap a Gift video from way back. My brother had so much fun unwrapping the present that he said he wasn't even mad there was nothing at the end of it.
