Vue Tutorial #4 - Break up your app into Vue Components

preview_player
Показать описание
Vue components allow you to break up your application into smaller, discrete pieces.
The Vue framework is extremely simple to learn and fun to use.
It's my tool of choice for small widgets and simple apps, but can easily scale to large application development.
Vuejs is also the best framework for new JS developers to learn when starting out.

Definitely easy to understand and follow, especially because of your deep and patient explanation. Thank you a million!!! Btw, English is not my mother tongue but your voice is so clear that I can understand right in the blink of an eye!!!

For those who might wonder how to link the component file to the main.js file, here's what I did
I went to index.html, added <script BEFORE the script tag that links the main.js file.
Hope this helps :)

Great series yet again man!!! I always go to your channel when I want to learn something new or improve my stack. In this particular video, I have a question:

I have this legacy source code that's currently in Django with some very messy vanilla js and jquery and I'm looking to use modern JS frameworks. I'm seeing Vue to be the easiest to apply (at least from what I'm see here), but the problem is the {{ value }} and {{ value | filter }} are also what Django templates are using to render. Is there a way that the placeholders will not be conflicting??

Когда я меняю " <friend " на " <friend-component " - не работает

Good videos so far but this one has the same problem that many do: you use the term "friend" too much. For a novice, like myself, I can't tell which "friend" is coming from where. I know you _say_ where they come from but when I look at the code I still can't identify it. It all went downhill when you added "props" and used "friend" there too. I want to call this friendData (just so I can differentiate it in my head) but I haven't figured out (yet) what else should be called friendData.
