If a person knows that he has HIV and does not inform his/her partner, that should be a crime punishable by law.

Sana itong klaseng documentary ay ipinapanood sa mga kabataan sa school as early as 13 basta nag onset na ang puberty stage para maging aware sila at hopefully maiwasan.

I told him Im gonna sent the link of this documentary, he said it might be nakakailang panoorin, but I told him yes it will be but he is gonna learn a lot about HIV.

As a doctor, when a person with HIV comes into the ER, I feel pity that they did not get tested right away and that they had to find out when they're already at the AIDS stage--when overwhelming infection, sepsis and end-stage complications starts to appear. At that point, a bombardment of medications, fluids, mechanical ventilation is all we can do. Initiation of anti-retrovirals would not be the immediate treatment. When HIV infection is caught early, end-stage complications can be controlled adequately with oral medications and people can leave normal lives. We had one patient who reached AIDS, got intubated, hooked to a mech vent and was in the ICU for almost a week. Eventually, he got better. He was off the ventilator. We started him on anti-retrovirals as OPD. Currently, he's living a normal life, with no apparent other illnessess. If you have a risk, suspecting you have been exposed, get tested. It can save your life.

I remember when I was in Grade 5 or 6. Meron kaming pinanood na documentary on how HIV/AIDS is being transmitted. Naging eye opener sa’kin un while growing up kasi up until now, fresh pa rin siya sa isip ko kung ano ang natutunan namin during that activity.

As a health care worker working at a Regional Hospital, there's an increase of HIV infection monthly. This is really alarming

Sana dumami pa ang mga ganitong documentaries na nagpapakalat ng tamang impormasyon ukol sa HIV. Nakakalungkot isa sa mga kaibigan ko ang pumanaw sa ganitong sakit..

Enjoy but make it reponsible mga sis/bro!

i felt bad with the guy at first, but after he said that he’s trying to give it to everyone without thinking about anything makes me feel so mad, that’s why hiv and aids is still stigmatized to this day in the Philippines because of these type of people who doesn’t know how to handle their rage. and yet he’s proud to say that infront of a documentary gosh the chills😬

The issue is not social media. Its just a tool. The root cause is moral decay which stems from poor values formation in the family and the lack of social deterrence.

I learned family planning when I was in Grade 6 (1982). The learnings continued until college.. regarding AIDS, Our Health teacher in High School taught us about it and the awareness until college. Aside from the fact that Family Planning and AIDS were in the news. I think we need to be more conscious and be responsible of what is happening around us and in the world. By this time, we should not say, I don’t care. We have to care….

Thank you for spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS. Kasi nowadays, it should be normalize na to talk about this topic and teach/ inform people especially the teens for them to know how to protect themselves from acquiring such diseases and mitigate health risks and symptoms if she/he has one. As well as to know where to go and ask for help.
