PROS

Nice Design - every device manufacturer is going to choose a design and stick with it for that year

The Battery - software allows you to adjust the phone usage to get the most out of the 5, 000 mAh battery

Performance - it's not great but it's not awful (it's $300 alright)

CONS

Outdated Display - teardrop front camera has got to go

Slow Charging - slower than my Motorola

No Charger In Box - this trend needs to be discontinued

Which phone is a better buy, this A34 5G or the A54 5G today? I’m looking for midrange phone that doesn’t feel cheap that can last me 4-5 yrs.

You forgot to mention something - one big pro (and something very rare outside of the Pixel and Galaxies) at this price is the IP67 water and dust resistance rating.

It actually costs around 250-270 in Europe right now which makes it the best value for money for everyone who want a good and cheap Android phone.
It has decent performance, 4yrs of updates, decent cameras, very good battery life, good screen, water protection...what would you ask more?

Sound vibrates back cover. Better if you put into a holder wallet cover. Argos UK 256gb model £249. Comes with c usb, had to buy a a to c cable. No ear phone, going to buy Jlab go. Camera just use the 4:3 48mp then just crop for wide shot.

Don't think chargers are supplied with any mobiles in UK. Something to do with EU regulations. as for headphone socket well it is disappearing from most phones as well. Bluetooth is the way forward. Do any other phones in this price range give the android and security updates that Samsung give no! There is at the moment a £75 reduction on 256gb version via Samsung application form.

In the usa we use band 71. The a34 is missing it. Its a major 5g band. It was made for Latin American/ European market. They use different frequencies. I have one . My speeds are lte fast. Nothing over 100mbps .

Where i live a34 8/128 is 200$.... Believe it or not... Pixel 7 is 600$...

This phone is junk. Had ig for a while. That wallpaper masks a really bad problem with the screen where it has brownish red weirdness going on. All whites appear like sepia. Everyone has dark mode on to counter it. The camera also has a weird sepia effect and is sldo seriously poor quality generally. The price came way down recently. If they continue to support the phone and you don't really care about the camera or the weird color stuff going on it could be a great option. For me though this will be a 6 month phone at best.
