A34 user here. I can definitely say this phone is one of the best overall package you can get for a midrange phone. Paying for the higher price tag like the S series isn't really necessary for those who don't really utilize the performance and features. This a34 has all the features(dual speakers, awesome camera, one ui, 120hz) you can ask for which is almost the same as the s series!

I'm one of them who doesn't care much about the camera, as long it can take a quick picture I'm happy. I'm looking for decent scrolling (without lag) and a good screen. Even 128GB are more then enough for me. I'm old school, I connect my phone to the PC and just move the pictures from the phone to the PC. In all my life I never had a phone running out of space. The A34 sounds perfect. I use maybe 10 apps on my phone.

I've been through a lot of high end phones this year. The iPhone 13 Pro, S22 Ultra and now the Z fold 4. I realize by watching this video that this phone would of 90% of the things that I need a phone for, for literally a fraction of the price.

My dad wanted to get A14, I did some quick research and saw it's damn slow. A34 was 5 TIMES faster on benchmarks at about twice the price. It gets close to my S20 FE with SD 865, which is still lightning fast even today. I am glad I didn't go any higher, especially after watching this video.

This year, samsung focuses more on the building up and refinement for user experience. I am using S23 ultra now, conpared to S22 ultra, everything is a little better for everyday usage. But that small portion is everywhere. So overall user experience seems to be improved a lot. When I tried A54 and A14 in the best buy, it is very solid for the price nowadays. Previous A series used to get a mere reputation in S. Korea, but this year A34 got a lot of attention as a value for the money.

I actually didn't realise just how close midrange phones are to high end ones. I've recently picked up an A34 as a second phone for work to go alongside my S23. And I'm honestly starting to question why I'm paying £500 more for a flagship. In terms of features. DEX, wireless charging and all the other gimmicky stuff which I never use personally is irrelevant to me. The build quality obviously isn't as premium on the A34 and that is something I would miss if it were my daily driver, having said that they've done a fantastic job with what they have, the plastic all has a nice matte finish and feels great in the hand.

The S23 has a great camera and obviously the two are not comparable in terms of dynamic range and detail. That said, the A34s cameras are still solid and in terms of general posts on social media, most people would hardly notice the difference. It's amazing how far smart phone cameras have come in the past couple of years. I've been quite impressed with some of the images I've shot with this thing in good lighting.

The A34s biggest selling points are the screen, as it's on par with the high end devices. It's frustrating though that there is no adaptive refresh rate, as it seems like it has been intentionally left out as higher end only feature. The battery would be the next best selling point as it easily sails through a day of heavy use or two on medium use. Had adaptive refresh been a thing on the 34 the battery could have been even better.

Don't get me wrong the S23 is a better phone but I'm actually mind blown by how good the a34 is.

Thank you so much for sorting this out 👍. I haven't yet bought A54 or A34 because I simply couldn't decide on which one to buy. Now I know that A34 is the one for my needs and very nice to save money too 🤗.

I believe for the next-gen A-Series phones, Samsung should give the A55 the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 (or Gen 3 if it's out by then) to make it a better value and avoid making the same mistake it made this year as well as perhaps a 108 MP main camera now that the 200 MP camera's here

G'day from Western Australia. Yesterday I bought the A34 for my wife, having discussed cost and specs for value - on now watching your video she is even more convinced it was a good decision and is delighted with the purchase! Thank you!

If I were on a prepaid plan, I would probably go with this phone. it's budget enough to where you could seriously not miss anything from a flagship, other than a camera, but then again, you could get an old school point and shoot that takes better images than the 200mp cameras on the flagships just because of the bigger image sensor.

I knew it. I had the same feeling the first time I saw A34's specs and reviews. I'll definitely buy one if I had a chance. Teardrop notch doesn't bother me, especially since it's easier to put a tempered glass.

Wade, I bought one of these a few weeks ago, just thinking it might be decent, but I'm still flabbergasted at how good it is. Wish it had a punch hole selfie camera though.

Great points made I got the A34 for my Dad over the A54 in doing research as the A34 has better perlonged performance (no throtthing unlike exynoss) and better battery life despite the lack of vairable refresh screen and cameras are pretty close. The much cheaper price makes it a no brainer over the A54.

I was planning on buying the A54 but there was a deal on the A34 and I don't regret it at all. The only thing I would have liked is a smaller screen. Even smaller than the A54, about 6 inches

I think the A series overall is a go-to option if you looking for a budget phone, I'm still using an A22 from 2021, love it❤️

I already owned A54, right now I feel like being scammed, paying extra for hole punch camera and glass back phone 💀

I managed to get the 256GB model for £299 when Samsung did a promo in the UK. No regrets, one of the best phones I have used and that includes high-end models.

I've bought my brother a brand new A34 recently. I can confirm the phone is mostly sufficient enough for the most users. He plays games and the battery life is really good, and there is almost no heating.
