8 Gallon McGraw air compressor first impressions

I think I'm the first person to post a video on this compressor.

My exact same compressor u got I got. Compressor quit on me just short on 2 years warranty. Lucky I still had the original box so no repack charges from Harbor Freight. Got an even exchange for less than $10.00 cheaper than original compressor. My even exchange has a new screw on air filter and has a long aluminum hose on the side for the air filter. Best get a Warranty.

Good video. That leake that compressor has. Did u replace that female end connector or return to get a different one ? Did u get insurance for it ? Im about to get the same one at Harbor Freight.

*After years of hauling around a large, 💫 **allabout.wiki/PORTER** heavy, loud dewalt air compressor (that ironically was advertised as quiet, supposedly 78dB), I bought this. Facepalm. While it is not ‘silent’, I find myself chuckling every time I use it, sparing all my neighbors the terror of my former compressor. I use for inflating tires, impact wrench, finish nailers. Absolutely love it. And I store it under the garage sink in a 24” cabinet. I paired with a coil 1/2”, instead of a my former 50’ 5/8” hose that I had to lug across the yard from the shed, unpleasantly uncoil.... this little guy is light and portable; just a joy. Impact wrench is still capable of easing lug bolts, flywheel bolts, crank pulleys... just allow for a tiny bit of recovery now and then.*

Os that a HVLP gun ? a LVLP gun with 8 gallon compressor will work better for painting jobs

Aren't you concerned with getting overspray on all the cars nearby, including neighbors' cars? I know if I walked out to my car and saw orange overspray on it, we would have a serious problem.

Mine doesnt recharge.... like after the initial pumping.... it dies down.. like starved for power...

I n3ver leave reviews but today I have to, bought one went thru the process of breaking it in and it worked horribly once it filled up and it wouldn't start back up. Swapped it once and decided for the fortress 6 gallons 175 psi and it worked the first time.... and it was a little less quiet

What size compressor did you have before.

Does this have a cutout switch? Does it stop pumping once it reached 150 psi or do you have to manually turn it off?
