The curse of the pharaohs is a curse alleged to be cast upon anyone who disturbs the mummy of an ancient Egyptian, especially a pharaoh. This curse, which does not differentiate between thieves and archaeologists, is claimed to cause bad luck, illness, or death.

After 100 years I think we can safely say anyone associated with the tomb did in fact die.

Never mind that the man who removed the most items from the tomb and spent the most time in there died of old age without incident

It's easy to write off bad things as being from a curse, or concoct a curse to explain bad things. But if there was a curse, why was it so slow to act? And why did it only harm just a few of the many it could have?

You forgot lord C’s dog back home supposedly let out a squeal and fell over dead at the same time t lord C did. Also, his house was used for Downton Abbey which shows he is still cursed.

Disturbing the dead, exploiting their bodies, and that's what they get.

Lord C actually died while in Egypt, and at the same time back in England allegedly his dog howled and died too. Wack

What I think is that George Herbert, 5th Earl of Carnarvon, was already a sick man following a terrible car accident and that he was advised to spend winters outside of England. So he went to Egypt for his health. So the idea that this healthy guy dying from a curse isn’t close to be correct.

Most of these stories of mysterious deaths or events are based upon half reported facts.

In a world where you life expectancies where not that great it looks to me that all of these people had quite long lives before they popped off

Who's hand was it, we know Pharaoh Tut's body was intact. So a curse on a bracelet had to be from some other tomb.😂😂

And the trumpets of war King Tut used caused a few wars and a Revolution in Egypt, costing MILLIONS of lives

Crazy how the guy who funded it died in almost the exact same way they think Tutankhamen died

This means no matter how intelligent and wealthy you think you are, you are still a nobody in front of Sumerian Kings and their Lineage. God and their close ones are real, they do not actually die, their sprite prays to end slavery. Never disrespect anyone you do not know who he she really is even inside a begger.

He also died in a young age in the age of 18-19

Whose mummified hand from Tutankhamen's tomb was given as a gift to the unlucky homeowner? Pretty sure it wasn't the Pharaoh's. =0[.]o=

what about EVERYONE else that worked on the tomb? Hundreds of people.. perfectly fine.

Out of the 26 people directly involved in the tomb's discovery etc, only 6 of those people died within the next decade after the opening. That's not statistically significant, given the time and place, and Carter—who was the main leader of the excavation, and thus surely would be the prime target of any "curse"—lived for another 20 years after the discovery. The "curse" has been debunked many times.

I would say why hasn’t there been a film about this…but I can imagine with filmmakers being superstitious..nobody wants to touch this one
