Herschel Walker taking summer classes after reenrolling at UGA, officials say

He was also running against Libertarian candidate Chase Oliver if you recall. You know, the guy he refused to debate and why there ended up being a runoff?

Love Herschel. He's the sole reason Georgia has won two national championships in a row --- and is (at 11-0) fighting for a 3rd consecutive national title at the present.

He made Georgia's football program a marketing brand when he led UGA to a national title in 1980 and then led them to the national championship game in the 1982 season. Georgia was 33-3 during that span.

Give the Democrats credit. But I think Walker needs to be realistic and pursue a seat in the House of Delegates. He needs to make a run for a House seat. I never liked the idea of Senate, as Raphael Warnock had all the backing; moxie similar to Obama. However, the Republican Party is starting to gain these attributes quickly. Just check out Vivek Ramaswamy and Byron Donalds. We're coming back. Vivek Ramaswamy dominates Democrats daily. Things are about to look up.

Hopefully Walker will return, but I think House of Representatives would be a better fit. I'm cheering for Herschel.

Oklahoma Sooners' great J.C. Watts (the Michael Vick of 1980) won a Senate bid as a black Republican. That's a hard feat though when blacks are typically frowned upon for running as a Republican. I don't agree with it, but there you have it.
