Rabbanaa zalamnaaa anfusanaa
wa-in lam taghfir lanaa
wa tarhamnaa lanakoonanna
minal khaasireen

“Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.”
(Surah Al A’raf verse 23)

How come Adam (AS.) was in Paradise but mortal? Isn't everyone immortal in paradise? Then why he went near to the tree to be immortal?

Look, please don't mind anything, I am just asking for knowledge because I have doubts! When I recite Surah Fatiha or any other Surah, its translation is that worship is only for Allah and prostrate is also for Allah, then why did Allah ask the angels and the Iblees to prostrate before Hazrat Adam (AS) ??
