I had a conversation with somone a few months ago, and we debated Christianity. We were both respectful, and I dont remember how the subject came up, but I am a Christian, he was not. He had a theory he said no one could convince him was wrong that Christianity was based on the Egyptian legend of Raw, or some similar same. We talked for six hours. We both listened patiently.
We was amazed I had answers for things he thought I couldnt, but I think God stepped in. As we talked it made sense that he was preparing me for that conversation.

At one point he brought up the crusades and hlw religion tried to justify it. He was stunned I was equally appalled about it and even angry, not in the discussion or at him but that religion has been used to fearmonger, mislead, and torment others, espetially by those who do not have the root of Gods love, which would have prevented many historical tragedies if they had.
We talked on many points, but if God gives you the wisdom to speak up as you have the courege and love to try, he will give you the words if you seek Him with all your heart.

I just fought with a Christian who thought it was ok to insult others if they are wrong, or if they don’t believe in god, and he would twist the words in the Bible and use them to justify being rude to others, I’m just happy I get to hear a good Christian talk about how people Twisted it to justify bad things
