The apocrypha books may have some phrase that says something like an immaculate conception for Anne to Mary as it was an idea floating around catholicism. Whether it says Anne mother was also an immaculate conception or if the subjects or objects are getting mixed around in the sentences I'm not sure but we do as Catholics believe in Mary's own conception through Anne being immaculate. The problem is that we don't believe immaculate conception means virgin birth. We believe it means free from sin. Saint Bridget had it revealed that it was a union without lust but the Catholic church held councils where it was decided that original sin from the fall of Adam and eve was somehow blocked from Mary's conception. So when Catholics say "Mary conceived without sin" or "Mary's immaculate conception" it is not reference to her virgin birth from Anne. We believe it was a union both without lust and that she doesn't possess the consequences of the fall of Adam and eve and if it has roots in some apocryphal book, well we don't have to consider apocrypha as scripture, that's why it's not scripture. The apocrypha contains some weird new agey stuff that goes against the Christian ideas of sin and denying the self. The apocrypha is like 1st century version of fan fiction. We can read it to understand 1st century culture but we don't consider it theology.

I'm amazed at the lengths people go to in order to try to reject God. People more readily accept that we live in a simulation than will concede that God created all things... 2. People who claim Christianity is about human sacrifice because we venerate the crucifixion of Jesus, and that it is about cannibalism because of the bread and wine.
