Theyve been tackling real issues for seasons but this one hits home

Flowers? Buying a sink? Oscar bait? Bad movie choices? When the argument isn't about what you're arguing about

This show is soo real and raw. They show the good and the bad 100%. I love!

Anthony Anderson and Tracey Ellis Ross better win some awards finally I mean Tracey got the golden globe win but both should have an Emmy by now. Not sure how Anthony didn't win anything for that Obama speech.

This episode really tore me apart. What a way to show that family life is not all love and butterflies. Thanks ABC for this wonderful performance. WOW!

For a show called Black-ish, this episode was awfully grey.

I havent started this show yet, but oh my gosh. Incredibly well filmed. From the cinematography to the directing and acting. The color grading. The camera movement. Whoa. Hope they won a couple of Emmys by now.

As brutal and heartbreaking as this storyline was, I am glad the writers were brave enough to do it. Comedy series can become so stagnant in later series because all character development stalls in an attempt to keep all the characters in the same setting. Nothing changes. No one develops. Characters with so much promise just stall. Blackish stayed true to original form however and addressed the sad reality that not all married couples stay together forever, and even though Bow and Dre got back together it was amazing they showed how some couples just need time. In that same vein, I loved how, instead of just having Zoe stall at home instead of going to college (see Haley and Alex in Modern Family) they gave her her own show! Brilliant!

Oh boy. What a brilliant scene in terms of acting. So touching. Get me the tissues already. The piano was so beautiful. So heavenly. Great episode.

This episode was brilliantly written, the kitchen renovation was symbolic of relationship. The acting is on point, very raw. I like how in the next few mins coldplay song (the scientist) comes on, very very Nicely done.

Them arguing led me back to my 7 year old self and I legit tought about hiding in the closet when I realized I'm 19 and alone in the quiet dark in my bed... Those are amazing actors!!

That was one of the deepest moments I have ever seen on this show. Because it was real it was about how things build up over time in relationships. And boom you start fighting about nothing but for real it's about how you just need to let things out.

This argument brings back a lot of sad childhood memories about my own parents.

This all would've been solved with an "ight", "wow", and "damn that's crazy"
