Where do you store your bikes? #bikestorage #garageorganization

PEOPLE. Where we be storing the bikes??? There’s no good spot in our garage and we can’t have a shed with our HOA. HELP! Anyone have good ideas for bike storage besides the curb on trash day? 😂

We bought a pulley system to hang the bikes from the ceiling so they're out of the way.

Use a second hook for the front tire and keep it straight, then it we’ll be out of the way

Harbor freight has a bike pulley system you could set up on the ceiling between the doors. Basically where u currently have them, but back a few more feet. Hopefully that makes since 😂

Edit: open the doors, now use the ceiling area between the doors

If you just could get that tire a little higher or put a spacer of some kind on the track to bring the tire just a little higher, it wouldn’t interfere and that’s a good idea!

I think it could work if you had it mounted higher (on the front wheel still keeping it sideways) to keep it out of the way of the garage doors

My husband said to turn the bike around so handle bars are down

We have little hangers screwed in ti the roof of our garage andthe front tire gets put on the hanger

If you add an additional hook a bit higher than where the tire sitting on the track is, you could technically get away with this

They make bike hangers that you slide the tire in deflated and then you reinflate it to lock it in and it would fit on the wall right where you where putting it

Oh no no no no no those bend terribly easy. Trust and believe I put wood up on ours and had to replace them, let me tell you my husband was pissed. Mind you one of our garage doors (we have 4) was brand new because the wind blew it in, that was a whole other story. Let me tell you my two great Pyrenees and me all hit the ground faster than I can even explain, it sounded like a tornado came through our door it was so loud.

I think the weight of the bike will eventually cause stress on the metal. Not worth it.

Really stupid idea why not release it from the motor and manually open it first
