How to Make Universal Blades fit Dremel MM20V (Step by step guide)

While the Dremel MM20V is a nice tool, the Dremel replacement blades can be expensive. Buying Universal blades could save you money if they would only fit. Well, now you can have the best of both words by using an inexpensive washer. Join us as we explain the problem the Dremel MM20V has with universal saw blades, and see how easy it is to fix, using the same tool. No feed for a grinder or other cutting tools, use the same existing Dremel MM20V to modify the washer to allow for the use of Universal oscillating blades.

This is a pretty good fix, I may end up just getting a different oscillating tool still

I just got mine last night I'm not sure if you checked yet about getting the other bits to fit but all you got to do is keep on turning that dial so it was stick out more so it will actually catch the other bit you have

I just went to the hardware store and bought a 50 cent “c” clip (1/2 inch) they are thinner than a washer and stay in place. And spring steel. Good home remedy though, thanks.

Hate to be the embarrassing news breaker…those desalt blades come with an adapter…it’s stuck on the inside between the two pieces of packaging paper. I took mine back and the lady at the store looked closer in the packaging and found it.
