Welcome to paradise! THIS is the ultimate guide to one of the most amazing islands in the Caribbean: Saint Martin! This tropical island with ultra white beaches and waving palm trees, is both Dutch and French. In twenty minutes I will show you the top sights of the island, with Maho Beach where the planes fly over closely, other beautiful beaches, the colorful capital Philipsburg, the highest mountain Pic Paradis and much more! Saint Martin is unique, because it’s the only island in its size divided over two countries. It’s an island you cannot skip when you go island hopping in the Caribbean. It’s easy to reach from Europe and North-America for a quick holiday as well. We rent a car to drive to Oyster Bay, Orient Bay, Philipsburg, Great Bay, the Great Salt Pond, Harold Jack’s viewpoint, Maho Beach, Mullet Bay Beach, Pic Paradis and Anse Marcel.

We are currently hopping all the islands from North to South and started in the Dominican Republic. Previously, you could see the start of our trip: road tripping the DR. We saw the best beaches, mountains, lush green jungle, waterfalls, salt lakes, vibrant culture and beautiful colonial towns. It was really worth it to escape the luxurious hotels and explore the country. Next, our little family flew to Puerto Rico and did a similar trip. We explored the UNESCO World Heritage of Old San Juan, hiked through the jungle in El Yunque and sailed to the Spanish Virgin Islands in Culebra.
