Now, had the Knicks gotten a pick worse than the 3rd pick, I would've been upset about that. But they got the top 3 pick they needed, and are getting one of the three best players. I'd prefer Morant, but i'm not scoffing at Barrett. We'll be fine.

I don't see this happening because of AD's desire to be in La.. meaning there is a risk that he walks after a year. I also don't think NY will be able to put together a contender in a year... so AD might be a 1 year rental. The only teams that can risk trading for AD are the Lakers and Clippers.

Knicks should keep the third pick and draft the best player available (Morant or Barrett). Every time the Knicks trade away the farm (all our young future talent) for a player, it doesn’t work out well. Look at the Melo deal and all the deals before that. Keep the pick and sign the free agents. Win win situation. The price will be to high for Davis!
