This is awesome as it is. Maybe someone should add some classical background music to the second half... ?🙂

Even in slow motion, it is not possible to tell which direction (forehand or backhand) he will serve :).

RF's serve is not for the faint of heart. it's not a good teach-beginners technique. Not even the top 100 of ATP can imitate that serve. This is a good demo on what an IDEAL serve is, but I won't teach it to anyone.
First, the ball toss, RF's toss is dangerous if the player is not doing the platform stance, and can't bend low enough and jump high enough. Then there's the racket drop. RF's toss is sometimes even right straight on top of his head. He can do this because he bends way back and way low. Imagine someone who is not bending, and who is not doing the platform stance.
Second, the motion. RF has a full range of racket motion where his swing begins and finishes when the ball is at the top of the toss.

For beginners, I'd go for other guys who have the pinpoint stance but who don't toss the ball too high.

Only copy RF's serve when you already have a foundation and understanding of a tennis serve (ie pronation, platform stance, ball toss, racket drop)
