Thank you for the concise and clear explanation. However, I think it would have been perhaps better to also touch on investigations for glomerulopathies that can present with acute renal dysfunction (e.g. RPGN). I think very often autoimmune/vasculitic screens are included as part of the workup.

Please do you have any explanation as to why urine osmolality and urine sodium concentration is "useless" in diagnosing or differentiating AKI types or etiologies?
