The hardcore United away fans nickname for Keane was “Massive” I remember. One fan after the (in)famous Highbury tunnel incident stated to me that he honestly didn’t believe the player could possibly rise in his estimation but somehow he had even done that. At the end of the day, we all love our respective clubs but ultimately it is about inspiring us and the kids by example. Roy Keane did that in spades. I’m not saying he is Denis Irwin level though 😂
