Hey Dolphin! Great distro as usual. One question for you:
Would it be possible to include an option at install for the user to select either Debian Stable, Debian Testing, or Sid same as is offered during install of Antix16? That would be perfect! :)

what I am interested in is the speed and ease of setup compared to puppy and one thing I think I, as well as other users will like is that you are not using root, you are an actual user. really looking forward to your videos regarding usb persistence. in the meantime this new version of MX is wonderful!!! a huge thank you to everyone involved in this project!!!😀

I like to use puppy Linux on my desktop booing from a usb stick and having a frugal install on my HD. when you do your videos of the persistence features it would be great to mention the advantages of using ms persistence over using puppy. does the mx way for example use ram like puppy does etc...

Poor dolphin, it was visible you were tired.I had to install the new final version, instead of repairing the RC1.It works without a problem.I still use the sgfxi cli for the Nvidia driver installer, it gives the newest driver.I know the newest isn't always the best, but it works for me.Btw if someone has a problem whit Chrome (Chromium?) should install the video driver before the installation of Chrome.But it was a great work, thank you so much for the final MX16.

Hi there. I love being able to have a file manager split the screen for transfers etal. Can Thunar be customised to do this or is it possible to import another file manager that does? Dolphin would be great!

Testing MX16 on old asus laptop where linux mint xfce was too slow... Will see in time how MX16 will handle it. Dsitro in overall is awesome but I came across some things that can be improved in the future:
- there is no way to choose locale for live version in grub as it is for Manjaro, so I can't check how distro is polished for non English languages, my experience is, major distributions are fully multilanguage, while smaller ones have serious lacks on that regard
- locale settings are chosen at the end of installation which is weird, because it forces user to use English version of installer (unless that is the point, given lacks in translations), that's ok for me, but that's not fine for newbies and other none English users who may have troubles understanding some technical things
- live version and installation went great, however I didn't have windows on the list in grub out of the box, had to grub-update manually for that
- mx tools are not fully translated yet, so far there are mix of mostly English and some of my native language (due locale settings)
- during system update, some options are in Polish (my native language) but are totally off to the point that some are incomprehensible (thou I can suspect the meaning) or... funny (instead "check and update overview" I see in polish as if it was "to check and to update of overview")

Those are just minor localization bugs that I noticed on my first boot, otherwise it's great so far. However this makes distro unqualified to install on computers of completely none tech persons who usually don't know English. For me it's completely fine. I guess, some polish fans base must be developed to make necessary translations :). So far my time I'm occupied with Manjaro so I won't be much of a help, at lest now.

Anyway, thanks for the great distro, I wouldn't even consider debian if not MX16. Debian it's too raw, too unfriendly for common, less tech advanced users, not mentioning being obsolete, but not MX16, which is impressive. Debian (stable base) and yet fully up to date software! Seems like a great match for working and corporate environment.

Im really comfortable with the stock mx15 I installed a while ago. My system (Lenovo T410) runs really well with it. Am I OK to stay with MX15 or would you recommend moving over to MX16?

BTW, so if I have a SD card slot on my laptop and want to run a live SD card, it will be like running on bare metal??? Was thinking about trying a 128 gig SD card

Will you be offering a 64 bit version of MX 16 for the Odroid platform??? it has Ubuntu now and a few other flavors of Linux that run on it.... Thanks!! Also will Etcher on windows/Linux/Mac work for creating the live USB stick??

Is there a way of installing mx16 on lvm. I have my SSD as lvm root and 3 hard drives combined using lvextend. When I go to install MX16 I can only add it to one hard drive not the lvm home partition I created with the 3 hard drives. I don't make a new home partition I reuse my pervious home partition with all the data on it.

Hi! I want to try mx-16 but it won't install. I just get a black screen. Usually when I install another debian distro such as Ubuntu,   then i need to enter "nomodeset" in Grub by pressing the E-button and typing it myself, if I do that Ubuntu installs just fine. In MX-16 it already says "nomodeset", but nor adding or removing it helps. I am using nvidia 1080 graphics card if that is important. Please excuse my English as it is not my first language.. Anybody know how to fix it? Thanks in advance
