So far, the most likely outcome for Ukraine is a Finland situation with land concessions to Russia

They are holding well and definitely have put a dent in Russia's plans, but beating them is out of the question imho, the resources of both sides are not comparable, even considering NATO support.

To be fair, nobody thought they'd last a month. Even Putin thought the operation would have been done before the next Monday.

US news is wild, in the EU we keep hearing Ukraine is on the brink of collapse and that’s why we need to keep helping

Lost a third of its population? A third of 9million is 3million. Ukraine’s population is way higher than that. I’m no Ukraine supporter, but that sounds… “a bit” exaggerated.

Ukraine can’t win against Russia (yet), but it can surely hold out. Most modern Russian equipment Russia had at the start of the war has been destroyed and it’s become a situation akin to Finland or World War 1: a war of attrition. With continued NATO support and a declining Russian economy and manpower reserve combined with Putin’s recent ceasefire proposal (something he said he would never do), the cracks in the Russian Federation are showing.

The Ukrainians have shown their ability and willingness to keep fighting no matter what, additionally western aid so far has been incredibly successful by giving Ukraine the ability to launch the Kharkiv and Kherson counteroffensives which both were major successes. I also have no idea why you say “multiple failed counteroffensives” when Ukraine has only failed 1. If Ukraine holds out for long enough with western aid, the Russian public will grow tired of The war and take action against putin. If western aid to Ukraine continues, Ukraine will win

Wow, thank you for this information, with a random photo of a destroyed car as you tell me the most unsupported, and unimportant shit I’ve heard all day 🤷‍♂️

If America would not block aid and Europe would hurry the fuck up, we wouldnt have this problem

They NEED NATO jets. The only way they will not win this war is if they do not have NATO support.

Even if Ukraine loses (which it probably will) I would still consider this Russia’s Vietnam.

Losing a third of its population? What? Also all Ukraine needs to do to win is still exist. It still exists. Its winning.

I mean. It seems like almost having a military uprising. Having your population slowly start to hate you. And barely managing to slightly win against the poorest European country is a pretty bad show for Russia.

I think it's a battle of attrition and both sides are starting to be on the breaking point. And it seems like it's a matter of who's going to break first before the other.
