Russia does not need to beat Ukraine conventionally. They’re already winning in the scale of territory seized and being held. Also it’s a war of attrition which Ukraine is far from prepared for ( hence why all they do is beg ) and they’re not going to overcome that obstacle at all, that time has come and gone.
