I'm 83. I bought this album when it first came out and I still have it. It's scratched to shit but I still have it.

I was around 11 when I first heard Pinkfloyd and for a lack of a better term, it blew my mind 🤯🤯🤯...I remember I was playing on the beach and I suddenly heard this tune, I was so drawn to it that I stopped playing and followed it, it led me to my uncle's car stereo and I ask him who was playing and he said "Pinkfloyd", I was sold...the lyrics, the music, the chills it sent down my spine, it felt like an eargasm lol, I never forgot how their music made me feel, even now at 29 and I still love them.

I remember when I would try to listen to this album and sleep, would always just stay up laying there, dreaming of what life would be once I grew up.

Now I listen to this album whiling pining for my youth. Life is a funny mother. Glad to see this album helped so many people get through their own depression.

Loved them times, blessed to have high on weed, and qualudes.We just spent off time with no worries listening to albums of Floyd. Problems were so minor then, it was a real escape. Too many people don't really get this music, they don't get what it can do. But ya'll all do!

I don't understand why people think this is "drug music". Listening to any music under drugs is trippier. Looking at wallpaper is trippier when you're on drugs. This is just a soft rock song, that's all.
