STARBIRD -- my latest album of original music:

A medley from the iconic Pink Floyd album Dark Side of the Moon which was released in 1973.

This is always very difficult to do in one take as the solo requires full attention to maintain the harmony and execute any decent phrases, on top of singing two songs in one! Awesome challenge though, I love to try again and improve. As usual, I'm not completely satisfied but this will have to do for now! Hope you enjoy :)

I lost my Dad a week before Fathers' day this year. He was always a Pink Floyd fan. He taught me how to play the Guitar as a kid but he only knew how to play by ear. He couldn't read music. As a teenager I introduced him to tabs. He was blown away. We played a little together but we didn't like the same songs at the time. - it was my fault as a punk a$$ teenager that was too cool for his dad.
FFWD 20 years and I would give anything to go back to listening to him and his friends play and record some classics on a reel to reel. Your videos make me want to knock the dust off his old Guild, the one that's been hanging on the wall for a while, and burn some callouses back in. I haven't played in years but pops would absolutely love it. I wish he was still here.

Wow, bro - you are the GOAT of acoustic sounds. Close enough to original so that nobody mistakes it, yet so perfectly crisp that most will consider it better than the original - and believe me, Pink Floyd is a tough act to follow - but you just murdered that track. I could listen to you all day...
