I mean, if you yourself stole someone’s land, you should definitely give it back.

It’s different from historically stolen land after hundreds of years. The current occupier didn’t take the land and it’s not clear who to return it to. That’s why we talk of reparations. Plus if any land is to be given back, the current occupants should be remunerated. No one is talking about taking land away without compensation. So, individual settlers, in any circumstances, should return the land they personally stole to their legitimate owners (without compensation in this case).
