In this video, I'll show you how to modify a bicycle flywheel to make it go blazingly fast! As long as your legs have enough strength...

My channel has just started, there will be more interesting DIY productions in the follow-up

This issue is, you can increase the gear ratio, but you will end up with diminishing returns without also increasing the horsepower. IE. with your current power you could have half the gear and just pedal twice as fast and get the same speed. The proper gearing would be to match both your peak horsepower with peak pedal rpm, resulting in your peak wheel rpm.

brilliant! I'm from the USA and my girlfriend is from France, with this bike I can now go and return the same day so I don't put up with my mother-in-law 🤣

Awesome work my good sir ! If I may be so bold I suggest a set of toe clips . You will understand why I do about 3 minutes into your first ride with them . Adding pulling on your up stroke to the pushing on the down stroke will make your giant chain ring come alive.

I can't imagine how much horsepower you need to do the first rotation 😂😂

Bravo, I love it when someone has an idea and builds it. It’s worth volumes.

Good work especially the way you welded segments of chainring to make a huge one, and using a short bit of chain to check the joints line up correctly was absolutely ingenious, but my legs aren’t to strong so I’ll think I’ll stick to my 44 tooth sprocket!!! Thanks for sharing 😀👊🏻

I would love to see every compound lifting movement transformed into various types of 'bikes', using different, appropriate gear ratios for each movement.

I appreciate the way this guy is tying to make his video editing like the "the q" channel .nice work 👍👍

Такую скорость с обычным тройничком можно развивать😂

Теперь ему нужно сделать вакуумный тоннель... И на всякий случай приготовить запасные колени)

Using thinner tires can help with the drag. Or have double gears, like gearbox. With this one giant wheel you run out of stamina really quick.

Ah, Melida, my favorite off-brand bike :-)

"250 полуляхов" Доктор Дью. На обычных можно разогнаться примерно на такую же скорость, при этом потратив меньше энергии

I saw a chain wheel about that size in an early velomobile, years ago, that was made to go 55 miles per hour. I think they are even faster now.

Nice project bro!
Cut the pedal welded in the center, and re-weld it in the same position but attached to the edge of the crown, not the center. You'll see that you'll have much less difficulty pushing, this is a little trick I learned from doing research.

4:25 - Safety first! (except for the sprocket --- which is more like a tablesaw blade. lol)
I love it 👍

I love the way you did everything-very inventive! Great skills and looks like you have some really nice tool selection. Keep building!

José Meiffret, France, set a world motor-paced speed record of 204.73 k.p.h. (127.243 m.p.h.) behind a Mercedes car on the German Autobahn in 1962 at Freiburg, Germany. His bike was set up with a massive 130-tooth customised chainring and equipped with wooden rimmed wheels.

He shows how to make giant gear, but the second nost important detail was left out: his leg day training...

COME ON! That gotta be a huge strain on the thigh making that flying saucer of a gear turn fast!

I am most impressed the sprockets teeth were properly spaced and straight enough for the chain to stay on.
