My drawing of a crab claw or pincer, using Derwent watercolour pencils! This sketchbook painting with watercolour pencils was completed with just 3 colours and a waterbrush. I used the soft, bright pencils by Derwent after being inspired by 'The Mind Of Watercolor' recent videos on watercolor pencils! I enjoyed this how to use watercolour pencils painting and i'll draw some more pieces with tutorials using these pencils...
Derwent watercolour pencils for the Claws: Brown Ochre - Crimson Lake - Blue Grey
For the background: May Green - Olive Green - Mineral Green

Awesome video...I would love to see you work with more watercolor pencils. I think they're underrated!

That's great 👌 please do more, esp flowers. Does blunt pencils work fine for majority of the application ? Do talk about the advantages and disadvantages over regular watercolors. Thanks.

Do you have a good recommendation for sketchbooks to use watercolor pencils on? Really lovely sketch, I like the dotted texture

Just found your channel. I use the Albrecht Dürer Watercolour Pencil from Faber-Castell as a baselayer for Colourpencil. I you put too much of them on paper, it’s more like gouache.
