i use Both simatic manager and TIA portal, and in the beginning of TIA it has strange but now i prefer TIA to the simatic manager, is the future

New sub here! GREAT explanations! I learned with both at University but I never did understand why we used both or either. I was adding it to my CV and needed to categorise applications and realised I did not know the differences technically but I knew it intuitively.

Hi guys. My contractor started my project in tia portal with 700 ios. now we have to expand the project to 2000 ios. The contractor tells me that they have to rewrite program in PCS7 from scratch coz tia portal has 2000 ios limitation... sounds strange

Philip, please tell me about the 18th version of the Tia Portal. Is it still raw and buggy, or is it usable already?
Or is it still better to use version 17?
