Tbh the republic's ignorance to Rodia can also be blamed, as it caused Ono to join the Separatists for a moment, disillusioning Lolo, which led to her assasinating him. Tan Divo's incompetence is also another factor, as not only it led to a false arrest, it also put the senators in dangerous positions (if he was competent enough, Deechi won't be murdered before Lolo is caught, and Padme and the rest won't be put in danger when Lolo lashed out) and supports the increased production of clones (benefiting Palps, Deechi, and Burtoni's agenda, but just extending the carnage of war).

It makes that whole series of episodes seem more harrowing when you realize the Umbarans used to be on the same side of the clones and are fighting for more than just gain by joining the separatists

When you think about it, the Umbarans were interested in keeping their world safe and besides he was loved. Padme, in my opinion had very political views as a Senator. Great video!!!!
