Saab Gripen is such a beautiful fighter plane and it is also really capable, just not stealth like the F-35 Lightning II. The question, however, is how much stealth the F-35 actually is in relation to modern Russian radars?

This plane looks really nimble and quick, but what impresses me most is the ability of certain jets to yaw around their nose vertically like the F-18 in this same event. I don't know jack about aerodynamics and therefore I don't know what yaw around the nose tells about an aircraft, but it just looks cool because it looks like it's not supposed to be possible.

This is what you call a proper flying display the F-16 however is trying to hard sell the plane by over flying it

Hmm... not trying to be insulting but I found this particular display somewhat bland and boring.
I've seen other JAS displays (also in Swedish hands) that felt much more impressive but perhaps there were limitations on this one because of clouds or something else?

I get it, the plane can roll quickly but you don't have to do that 20 times for half the demonstration. It's an incredibly quick and nimble aircraft so I'd rather see more of that.
High speed max turn loops and just hard turns in general (1:45 looks nice) are what makes this plane look the most impressive.

As it stands in this particular showing the JAS display didn't hold a candle to the maneuvers of the F-18 despite being a much more agile plane.
