I recently started buying gear and a/b'ing it against my plugin equivalents. So far the plugins lose every single time. The only thing I will say is that I've never had so many damn issues. I'm dealing with ground loops and white noise out the ass. It's all new to me too so I'm in the weeds with it.

what they leave out! Pro engieneers have $8000 clock and a 3-5000 dollars audio intrface oh and a dangerous 2 buss that cost $2000- 3500.. I wouldn't need hardware .. On shootouts the plugin fails the test MOST of the time!
